best part was that it was a replay, they had 2 chances to edit that live on delay and before the replay
i love it

Ya that was awesome. He said something like wtf was that. Hes cool, although hes not the best driver i have always liked Kyle Petty. I met him one time at Talladega in 93' he is a really nice guy.
He was also talking on the mic for a while when he was actually racing, explaining the track. Only Kyle Petty would do something like that.

I heard it and I laughed! I was so impressed with him leading the team in a prayer and then minutes later the Fbomb comes out! But I found it inspirational, it shows he's human just like the rest of us and yet humble enough to appologize several times about it later.
HE BETTER NOT GET FINED!!!

Like many other posters, I was laughing my head off when I heard Kyle. But as another poster wrote... TNT ran it on REPLAY. Blame the Producer for not knowing what was on the replay besides "good in-car crash footage".. and to top it off, it's a TNT analyst using one of the "seven words".
Memo to drivers... I know i'ts emotional out there. but remember, the microphone is ALWAYS on.

Yes, and it made my day. I would think that he would've been more careful with his broadcasting role! I like Kyle, not because of his language, but because he is a very down to earth guy and brings so much to the sport.

The hubby did. I caught where the tv station apologized and asked him why and he told me. It is really funny. His take on it was "well they were listening in on his radio, it's their own fault" (meaning the network) after I asked if he could be fined for it. He said they are always cussin back and forth to each other over their radios.

Yes, I heard it, my husband heard it, my kids heard it...but then again, who doesn't accidentally let things like that slip when they get into a car wreck...after leading a team prayer? *smirk* I am really glad that the commentator had the presence of mind to almost immediately say they were sorry for the language, though. Kudos to TNT on that!

Oh Yeah!!! It was pretty funny; not the crash but the F Bomb. It is so uncharacteristic of Kyle and I guess that is what makes it funny.

Who cares...NASCAR needs to remember this ain't a bunch of Mormoms on the track. If they fine him I will be very disappointed. It suggests you can get in more trouble for cussing than cheating. Rusty Wallace used to sling curses from start to finish and the fans loved it. If you evesdrop, you may hear something ugly. That seems to be the sentiment of the rest of the answerers.

Yeah, when I heard that I thought that It was either kenseth or the other guy that was involved, I was shocked to hear that was from Kyle,

Yeah, and the fact that he was just praying a few minutes before that. It took me by surprise. The silence afterward was funny too.
