God: one who is all powerfull, a spirit were all things are possible.

christian God: throws his son on a cross to save them from their sins, because there is no other way but to kill his son.

Right on!!

The entire book of Romans goes into great detail about Jesus dying for the sins of the world. If someone is going to keep sinning what are they saved from? The Bible says the wages of sin is death. When Jesus was on earth he healed the sick and told them to go and sin no more least a worst thing come upon them - If it is impossible to live free from sin then those types of statements just make Jesus a joker.

All have sin and come short of the glory of God. This includes Christians. Christians are not perfect, they are just forgiven and given special place in the Body of Christ (the Spiritual Church) because they all recieved Christ as their Lord God and Saviour. Yes sound stupid and even more for those who has the heart of a rebel, fashioning a God that they can handle and dictate. No brother, the clay has no power over the potter and question Him, "Why did you made me thus?" (Revelations 4:11)

some of your answers arent correct. Jesus is in the process of making his followers perfect. We wont be perfect untill we get to heaven and then we shall be like Him.
Jesus is God that is the amazing thing about it. In the Old Testament God demands a blood sacrifice for the atonement of the peoples sins. When Jesus came down to earth He was the only man the only one in the whole of the human race that was perfect. That is why He had to die. It couldnt be anyone else because they already had their own sins to pay for.
God bless you

I don't believe that Christians are the only people that say that one cannot become perfect. We are imperfect beings by nature. We are not divine. We make mistakes. Everyday I make mistakes. Even if it is so simple, I make mistakes. For example, you misspelled powerful. That is a mistake. That means you are imperfect. We are asked to be perfected in Christ. This means we are to rely on Christ and trust his truth rather than our own preconceived motions. You have to keep in mind that Christ was not just a man. Christ is God in the flesh. Christ is perfect and sinless. Christ has the ability to sin, but the divine power to refuse the temptation around him. We don't have that divine power, but we CAN rely on Christ more and succumb to less and less temptations. Sins are atoned by a sacrifice. Christ was that perfect sacrifice. The gospel may seem foolish to you, but that is to be expected. You do not sit down with the eyes of faith and the power of the Holy Spirit to read the scriptures in a view of the power of God rather than the view of foolishness. Until you do that, this isn't something you will ever be able to truly understand.

God Himself put Himself as a man in this world to love us even unto death. We are made perfect in our spirit man, that's the Spirit of God living in us. We on the outside are everyday decaying and on our way to the grave. But, the Holy Spirit in us is what perfects our actions, the things we say and do in our everyday lives. And this takes years to work out.
Soon and very soon, we will be in Heaven and there we will understand all things, but for now we just need to work on loving Jesus and in the mean time we will love others as Christ loves you and me, and everyone.<><

Christ was the only perfect being to ever walk the earth. he did not sin. Because of this, he was the only one who could die for our us and make an atonement. he suffered for all our sins. This is why if we repent, God forgets about our sins, because Jesus Christ has already suffered for it. someone has to suffer for our sins, and since Jesus did, if we repent, we don't have to. If we do not repent, then we have to suffer for our sins. This way we can become perfect, just not in this life. no one will be perfect in this life, but can be in the life to come. God CAN make us perfect, if we obey him and repent of all our sins. He wont make us perfect if we don't strive to be perfect and work at it. Christ knew what he was getting into when he came to earth. he knew he was going to have die for us.

Christ died willingly, because He knew the Father could and would raise Him back to life again.
