Well, if it was on a toe it would be called a corn, but there's a callous or wort-type lump right where my index finger hits the mouse button. Is there anything I can do about it?

I would soak it in epson salts and warm water, then rub it with a pumice stone. This is what i did to my feet when i was a waitress. The epson salts will soften it and the pumice should help to remove some of it.

The easiest and least expensive thing to do is to simply make sure to exfoliate it every day. A good scrub in the shower when it's nice and soft will wear it down.

In the meantime, maybe you should consider a different mouse, just to spare the wear and tear on your hands. A change is as good as a rest, and there's lots of different egonimic mice out now.

The yellow juice of greater celadine (Celadinum major). Break off a leaf or twig of the plant and gently tap the wart (verruca) with the juice. The skin turns orange, that's good. Let it be organge. Repeat until the wart goes away. Don't let the juice get into your eyes! 100 per cent guaranteed folk medicine. In my country, everybody knows it.
