It seems like, if Christ were the best answer ever, we'd have worked out a lot of problems by now, surely.
At least 2/3 of the entire earth's population disagrees with you.

I think Luther made that very plain back in the early 16th century. Yes, others did too, but the reason *I* follow Christ is largely in part because of what Luther did.
And not only did he reform the church and free it from the reins of indulgences, but he also freed it from that awful belief that the only reason to have sexual relations is to have children. Thanks to Martin Luther, we now consider the idea of sex for pleasure a "given," but it wasn't always so.
Probably because the popes and cardinals were saying, "If we're not gettin' any, than neither should anyone else."

Nope - not at all. Jesus is cool - but he is not the best answer ever.
If Jesus were the best answer ever, it would be evident to all of us who do not believe in his divinity. Since the majority of the world sees Jesus as not being divine, he cannot be the best answer.

Its not the best answer, people love him because at least they think he has been to earth, the Christians used that opportunity to make this "role model" inhumane. Going to a catholic school scared me for life. To all the kids out there being human, and having flaws doesn't make you less better sex is not bad. And the best out of all of them confession is B.S.

You are correct. Jesus Christ is good for nothing except repeating the errors of our ignorant ancestors. History has repeatedly proved that religion leads to nothing but hatred and violence.

well, it depends on the question
Q: What is the greatest thing to ever possibly happen in someone's life?
A: here, Christ would be the best answer
Q: who was that dude that killed my cousin the other night?
A: obviously, Christ isn't the best answer here
hope you get my point

You worded that perfectly. A schizophrenic belief in mythology is not an answer for anything.
