The soft glow of the moon and the twinkle of stars have a mystic about them. Once thinking the moon was made of cheese or the face of the man on the moon filled many of childrens stories.

The stars which fills the blackened background of the night sky like miniture diamonds. All these things is what songs where made of and listened to as lovers took dates to the top of the highest point closer to the sky and looked down on the city lights.

It provokes imagination to dream of those things that you wish for.

All the universe and everything in it holds a mystic about it.
It's the same moon that has been since the begining of time. The same moon that Adam and Eve, Jesus,Cesar, Davinci,George Washington all those who ever existed saw.

Amazing when you think about it. And your not being charged a fee to sit outside and take it all in.

The stars and moon always remind me how small we are in comparison to our universe. I look up, and I think, "There's nothing above me but water and gas."

And, as cheesy as this is, I'm reminded of something Scully said in the X-Files:

"I once had a talk with Mulder about starlight. How it's billions of years old. Stars that are now long dead whose light is still traveling through time. It won't die, that light. Maybe that's the only thing that never does."

As a romantic tool, these objects are perfectly representative of love -- you know it's there, you can see it sometimes, but we can never truly grasp or quantify it, like any strong emotion.
And there will always be stars, just as people proclaim their undying love.

because they are far beyond reach and are the only visible things in the night outside of the technology. the fact that they are the only naturally visible things makes them magical and unique much like love. the beauty of it. being awed by its grandeur.
it also depends on how it is used in the writting.
ex.But, Moon, and Star,
Though you're very far—
There is one—farther than you—
He—is more than a firmament—from Me—
So I can never go!
-emily dickinson

And now, each night I count the stars.
And each night I get the same number.
And when they will not come to be counted,
I count the holes they leave.

Nobody sings anymore.

The moon and the stars are only two of a billion beautiful things that Jehovah God created. Men uses it to attract women because they stand out on beautiful nights just like women do when they glow/blush.

Good Questions. One year for christmas my boyfriend gave me a globe (a really old looking one, I love it) but he was so corney he goes, I gave you the whole world for Christmas, so I must love you more. lol it was funny.

Romance I think is all on how you see it. Yesturday, my bofriend and I rode to Sonic on the motor Scooter to get a ice cream shake, I thought that was romantic.

Anything that can be seen, and not touched nor completely understood leaves people with mixed feelings.

That which we do not know is feared by some, embraced by others and simply disregarded by few.

So the stars and love itself is great for sparking ones interest.

There is no reason for it, Sara. They are simply romantic and beautiful. It is like trying to explain why Niagara Falls is beautiful. It just is... it can't be put into words.

To me the stars and the universe is a beautiful place filled with wonder, mystery and beauty.

I guess it has something to do with the mystery and beauty of space.
