I was watching a documentary and they kept mentioning about countries posing a threat to USA. why? why everyone wants to attack USA?

I live in Slovenia and the only war in here was 16 years ago for freedom, to not be a part of communist yugoslavia. and no one threatens us, no one attacks us, nothing (at least I dont know about it). but why is USA always in wars? everyone threatening USA?

nič ni večno. nothing's forever. maybe USA will get peace someday.

Because America is imperialist capitalist and that requires a constant influx of cheap raw material, labour, and manufacturing practices so the economy continues to grow. The easiest way for a country to achieve this is to invade another country, kill 1/4 - 1/3 of its population, get them involved in an internal ideological conflict.

When it looks like no one is looking, start draining that country of what ever it has of usefulness and explain this action of 'resource acquisition' as cost of liberation. It is also known as reparation, which is the cream in the coffee of conflicts.

Once that country is of no use, start a new conflict. In a nut shell. The notion that the USA is in constant danger creates reason for invading other countries.

Of course if this where actually true, Saudi Arabia would of been invaded for all of its terrorist attacks against the USA have originated from this country, yet, Saudi Arabia is hardly a concern or a blip on the american radar or the american peoples conscience.

In the 1970's there was a govenment research committee that wrote a paper called "The Report From Iron Mountain" that had as its central thesis that the United States of America could not afford peace but had to be in a constant state of war to sustain its economy. This was said in the report to be because the U.S. had never really recovered from the Great Depression until it began arming for war. Declaring peace would destroy an economy based on war/DoD spending.

Nothing was said, however, about changing the direction of the pump-priming by the govenment and using some other agency/department to focus the government's outlays on non-defense areas. Interesting.

Threats and having to act as the "world police" are just a couple of things that come along with being the world super power. Everybody wants to point the finger at you because you are messing around in other peoples affairs. However, it is our responsibility to get involved because we are the only country in the world that has the power to ensure fair and balance policies.

Think about it, we are the only reason North Korea hasn't attacked the South. We are the ones that had to push Iraq out of Kuwait when they unjustly attacked Kuwait. We keep China from taking Taiwan. The examples go on and on. It is just our responsibility as the super power.

Good question. The USA is a part of mutual defense treaties or has a number of military alliances throughout the world. Military alliances eventually lead to armed conflicts. Having one of the world's strongest economies means that the USA is one of the few nations that can afford to maintain a large military capable of deploying around the world.
These treaties are both a benefit and a curse.

The U.S. was attacked by the British twice (Revolutionary War and the War of 1812), the Spanish supposedly once (Spanish American War), terrorists several times (Barbary Wars and Libya once again because of terrorism, the fighting in Afghanistan, the U.S. take over Florida as the result of British/Spanish trained and armed Indian terrorists), The Germans (WWI), and The The Japanese (WWII).

Land grabs resulted in the Mexican American Wars and the Indian Wars.

The Civil War was a war of ideals.

The U.S. took an action of Communist containment in the Korean War and the Vietnamese Civil War.

The U.S. helped allies in Grenada, and the war against Iraq. Iraq was invaded again after the unconditional part of the unconditional surrender was not met.

There was and attempt at nation rebuilding in Lebanon and Somalia.

The invasion of Panama was part of the U.S. war on drugs.

You answered your own question.

The USA does not want war with anyone. In fact, we love peace. We love freedom.

These are the things that totalitarian minds hate. Be it communism, fascism, islamism, or dictatorship...

The United States of America supports anyone who wants to be free to express their views without reprisal.
