I just had a thought. I remember being quite impressed by the book "Seven Kinds of Smart" about ten years ago. It's about how there are different kinds of intelligence, and how they should all be developed, but most schools (and work situations) ignore most kinds of intelligence. You can get a quick read about the theory of multiple intelligences here:

I'm just wondering, could it be, perhaps, that our differently gifted brains will perceive religion and spiritual experiences much differently? That different experiences and ideas will reach us? That we have different needs because of our different kinds of smart and the many combinations that result?
I know that Pagan religious observances reach and develop my bodily-kinesthetic (movement), musical, and naturalist intelligences in ways that my everyday life just won't.
What do you think?

It's eight kinds of smart now:
Linguistic intelligence ("word smart"):
Logical-mathematical intelligence ("number/reasoning smart")
Spatial intelligence ("picture smart")
Bodily-Kinesthetic intelligence ("body smart")
Musical intelligence ("music smart")
Interpersonal intelligence ("people smart")
Intrapersonal intelligence ("self smart")
Naturalist intelligence ("nature smart")
