Wtf, how can people be so insensitive? One thing, my dad lost 500$, and he has been out of work for a bit. I used yahoo answers, maybe hoping someone else had been through this before. Ive been looking on the web and I thought to my self 'the people on answers has helped me before.' Thanks for those of you who were nice and tried to help. I'm not a bad owner, I'm just scared right now.

Many vets will let you set up a payment plan. So, DO THAT AND TAKE HER TO THE VET!

Your dog could have anyone of a number of illnesses! When they're older dogs like that, they can have kidney problems or develop diabetes. Many of the complicated stuff will KILL them unless you get her to a vet.

You don't have the money to take her to the vet?!? What the heck did you adopt it for? NEVER, EVER ADOPT AN ANIMAL IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO CARE FOR IT PROPERLY!!!!

Sell some of your precious belongings if you must but get that poor animal to a vet before it suffers anymore or dies on you. If your Dad was throwing up a lot, sleeping randomly and spacey, you'd sure as hell find the money to get him some help. Why treat the poor dumb animal worse?

You people who say you can't afford a vet make me just heartsick. I've had hard times, too, been without work or had unexpected bills but my animals come first.

I can understand that you might not have enough money for a vet bill right now, but unfortunately bringing her to the vet is what you need to do. Maybe if you explain your situation, the vet will allow you to set up a payment plan so you only have to pay a little bit each month.

Also, here are some links to organizations that help people pay vet bills. It came from a website about feline diabetes, but most of the organizations themselves help dogs too.

The people on here are totally rude. I am discusted by the way people in this world treat one another. I feel terrible for you and I know exactly what you are going through...I am going through the same sort of thing myself. I would call any random vet and tell them the story over the phone and see if they can lead you in any sort of direction. I have spent over 5,000 dollars at the vet at this point with no answers so going to the vet sometimes doesnt even do anything anyways. Good luck and these people who responded so RUDELY to you should be ashamed of themselves.

Have you taken her temp? It should run about 101*. If it is higher, then that is not a good sign. You should not try to stop her from throwing up as this is usually a dog's way of trying to rid the body of something. Is her heart racing? Are her gums nice and wet/pink or pale/ sticky?

She needs a vet no matter if you have to set up a payment plan or take her to the humane society and see if they can offer help in treating her. Get her to a vet!!!

Oh ! I'm sorry ! poor thing!
hey! when you say it is spacing out yo mean kinda of out of it?

look at her eyes to see if the are fixed like are just a stare .
I know you indicated she was staring at the wall .
has she been out and gotten into something?
smell her breath if she will allow you to ,to see if they are any strange smells other then her usual dog breath!

how long has the vomiting been going on?what does the vomit look like any signs of anti-freeze /coolant?kinda of a greenish yellow color/blood ?
is she very thirsty? she may have gotten into something poisonous
also she could be having a stroke?
I know it is hard on you right now to take her to the Vet but please call you vet asap anyhow and let them know whats going on and if you could possibly set up a monthly payment coz you don't have the money up front !

she could had a seizure my cat has them ! also she could be dying!! PLEASE call your vet anyhow NOW!!

hope she will be okay!
God bless

if you cant take an animal to a vet you shouldnt own one in the first people you can get charged with animals abuse for not providing medical attention. this is just like your kid if you had one and it was sick and maybe dying wouldnt you take him to get medical attention i hope so. TAKE TO A VET

She needs to see a vet. If you can't afford it you need to see if they can offer a payment plan for her treatment or if not please hand her over to a shelter who can provide medical care for her. If you can't afford the vet, you can't afford the pet, and you need to do the best thing possible for your dog.

Hey Mikey, if you were really ill, would your parents ask for help on Yahoo?
