I always thought that I would never buy them for my 2 year old, but every time we went into the shoe store she would find a pair and put them on. She loved them. We got them for her and she wears them all the time. The only problem we have is when she wears them without socks she gets blisters in the arch of her foot. So we just make sure that she always wears socks with them.

Ahh. apparently crocs are a type of shoe. I was going to say, a crocodile is definitely not a safe thing to give to a 2 year old. A pair of them doubly so.

They are safe- I have yet to see my toddler get them off let alone having them fall off on their own. As for support, they appear to have arch support but because they aren't really "proper" shoes I don't have her wear them full time. I find them to be great play shoes like when she's going to play in the sandy playground of her daycare- they rinse under the faucet and are good as new again. They ARE expensive for plastic shoes, but I think they were well worth the money. Also, Payless makes Crocs knock-offs and they were RECALLED for not being safe. So I would go with the real thing.

No, children's feet are still developing and the bones are very soft. Either a child wears a fitted shoe such as Clark's, or they wear nothing on their feet at all. How can a child run around safely and freely if they are trying to keep plastic croc shoes from falling off their feet.

My 2 year old has a few pair of crocs and LOVES them. They stay on her feet very well and never slip off. I think they are great for the summer and provide more support than other sandals.

I personally do not have a daughter, but I've taken care of girls that are my sons' playmates that are that age and younger and they wear them with no problems. They have that thing that comes up around the heel if you are concerned that could help keep the shoe on. Also, I guess it depends on how well she walks, and her balance etc.

For a 2 year old, they are fine. I would not recommend them for a child who is just learning to walk.

I would not recommend Crocs for kids. (sounds like a charity)... But seriously...they are sloppy and offer no support. My kids grandparents on their moms side bought them for my kids and I hate them on them. Kids cannot do anything in them but walk. Since they dont fit snugly, they cant run, jump, etc...

Good for nothing really, except maybe a water shoe...

No, don't waste your money on expensive, ugly shoes for a 2 year old who doesn't even know what the hell is going on all day. She'll only grow out of them in a couple weeks and you will have wasted money when you could've bought something valuable for yourself.
