Question

At church yesterday I told a couple of people that I've been on Yahoo 360 answering questions, and that some of the atheists call me "fundy".
well...
That was the funniest thing they'd ever heard, because half of the people at my church think I'm an agnostic who just shows up for the cookies, and the rest think that I come to argue with the Bible study, sing, and, uh, eat the cookies.
So now I am Brian Fundy, to their great delight---my real last name starts with an F, so it sort of fits, has the right rhythm, and is suitably ridiculous. Buy...I sorta like it, so thank's y'all. Have a drink. I'm getting tired of the Pascal's Wager thing---what other phrases or subjects can I raise to attack your livers in the morning?

I'm sorry but if you want to attack us you'll have to get personal and childish, unreasonalbe and irrational....which won't work with atheists.

IF you're tired of Pascal's Wager you are probably tired of getting disproven over and over again, and getting beaten down everytime is boring so you try to find another argument as strong as that but the only thing you'll get is unfalsifiable claims which will make you feel like you have achieved some honest intellectual argumentation which you ahven't.

I guess you could go with that.

Not to be mean, but why would your church think you show up for cookies and not to be seeking accurate knowledge of godly standards and scriptures, and how you should be properly carrying yourself in the world outside of your congregation? Usually this means that a church is not unified as it should be.

Why would your church think you're Agnostic? That is a huge issue right there. This means your perisheners are not unified in their beliefs and this spells false religious teachings to me. Why would they think you're Agnostic? God's temple is a place of worship and unity.

Something is very wrong there. Pray about it. God knows the hearts of the wicked ones and the righteous. He is far from the wicked.

Go and find a picture of a Geoduck and take it to your church and ask your pastor to do a sermon on what gods plan is for the Geoduck. Please video tape it and lets us all see it.
As far as great questions you can hammer us with the "where do you get your morals" thing.

As for your question, feed them a strawman... that seems to be a large part of MANY (but not ALL) of their diets.
