The whole "Adam and Eve and incest" argument is moot.
God killed everyone in the Great Flood except for eight people: Noah, his wife, their three sons, and their wives.
So everyone on the earth, according to the Bible, came from those eight people.
"Incest is a sin starting in Leviticus 18:6. Before that and especially in Genesis our blood was too pure for genetic flaws to be a problem in incestuous relationships."
If the blood was so pure, why did God have to wipe out the whole population of the Earth?

Some things were considered taboo or "sinful" in the Bible and in certain early cultures probably because they were observed to have unhealthy results. Incest, which was openly practiced in certain cultures to preserve a certain blood-line, caused children to be born from such couplings to be at very high risk for genetic mutations and physical and neuropsychiatric diseases.
Some things that were considered taboo or sinful or else were required observances in the ancient past (such as male circumcision, which helps prevent men from getting genital infections) are not necessarily relevant in and of themselves today although they've been worked into the fabric of belief systems, etc. Nothing wrong with having a belief system and observances.
God didn't "make" people anyway so no need to fret about dust, ribs, and incest. The Biblical creation story is a contemplative and metaphorical tale that has parallels with other earlier creation mythology from that region of the world.

Incest is a sin starting in Leviticus 18:6. Before that and especially in Genesis our blood was too pure for genetic flaws to be a problem in incestuous relationships.
And to Nic T: Genesis 5:4 says that Adam had other sons and daughters. This is where the other women of the Earth came from.
iron maiden77: I was under the impression that the races came (noticeably) from Noah. Wasn't one of his sons black? I'll let you check that. Genesis is clear when it says that humanity came from Adam and Eve only. This is especially noticeable when you look at what their names mean.
And what are you talking about the 8th day!?
Lukusmcain//: What are you talking about? Sexual relations between God the Father and God the Son! Not only are sexual relations necessary or wanted. But not even suggested in the Bible. Where have you gotten such an obviously made up idea and what makes you think for a reason that it’s credible?
Nandina: When I say our blood was too pure I mean that it was devoid of the genetic problems that we see today (which happen more prevalently in incestuous relationships). God didn't wipe humanity out in the flood because our blood wasn't pure; he wiped humanity out because of the sin in their hearts.

regulations! Who makes them and why? what's sin yet lawlessness? Who comes to a decision what's a sin? God perhaps?! whilst God created Adam and Eve the place have been each and all the regulations? would desire to they be responsible of not paying their taxes? --or dashing? --how approximately taking somebody else's land? whilst God basically created 2 people, became into he stupid? Or became into it his objective, because those 2 have been appropriate, for them to have little ones that lower back married and had little ones? because they have been appropriate, the subject of inbreeding did not impression them. what's inbreeding? Wikipedia: "If practiced persistently, it many times finally leads to a help in genetic selection, and the greater desirable gene expression of destructive recessive characteristics, ensuing in inbreeding melancholy. this would bring about inbred persons showing decreased wellness and wellness and decrease ranges of fertility." Inbreeding on the subject of Adam and Eve became into not a difficulty because they were created to do as they did. subsequently there became into no sin of incest because God hadn't made this a sin yet. Later, because of fact of imperfection, this grew to grow to be a difficulty and the regulation Covenant forbade marriage of close family. (if memory serves stunning, Lev 18:6-17)

Why do people think that the only things that happened back then is what is written in the bible? I am sure God had much more going on than what is there. And even if what you say is true which I doubt Their DNA was much purer than ours is. Lets not forget that there were also Fallen Angels inhabiting the earth at the time who had children with humans and corrupted them which brought on the whole flood thing, which is where we started again.

The bloodlines were pure and not tainted as they are now. Adam and Eve populated the world beginning with their children(they had many many children). Their sons and daughters married each other(or married cousins, grandchildren or what have you) to populate the earth. After the flood Noah and his family continued in populating the earth.

incest is wrong mainly because of biological reasons. like you said, they had no choice. I'm sure God would pardon a person who believes it's a sin to eat shellfish, yet they're stranded for 30 days without food and they see a crab walk by.....
micro-evolution may have played a factor. now, we produce deformed children and of course our own biology wards off similar genetics. they might not have had this biological deterrant.
but now, we have a biological deterrant and we have a choice. we know the consequences and of course, it's illegal.

Fortunately for all of us, people didn't come from adam and eve, they evolved from earlier forms. As they spread across the earth, the various environments that they settled in forced them to adapt to survive and that is what produced the various races of humans.

If you believe in the Bible you understand and Adam & Eve and their children....and if you don't believe in Adam & Eve why even make the argument.
It doesn't achieve anything and it certainly doesn't change the minds of believers....nor should it.
