When you ask any two people what they think god is and what qualities do they think he possesses they always have different answers. I would suggest that you all worship a different god, depending on your opinion on what god should be.

Yes, it's extremely illogical. Arabs are the child of Ishmael. He is the son if Abraham and Hagar. He worshiped the same God of Abraham as the Christians and Jews do. There are many different names for God. Christians alone have tons. There is Lord, Lord God, Creator, Alpha and Omega, Father, on and on and on. Muslims view God differently and do not interpret him in the same way. However, Jews and Christians differ on doctrine, yet I do not know a single Christian that denies that the Jews and Christians worship the same God. I do not understand why they do not think the same way about the Muslims.

Yes. There is one Supreme Personalitiy of Godhead. God is absolute. This means that there is nothing outside of God. God can take any form He likes, and He can display any qualitiy He likes. All qualities come from God, don't they?
So, one can worship God's father-like qualities, and one can worship God's war-like qualities. Some worship the loving qualities. Still, all qualities belong to God, so there is no difference between Allah, Jehovah, Krsna, etc.. The difference is which qualties are being recognized or revealed.
God is absolute. It isn't that some other God can make war. No, God is the creator of both the good we perceive and the so-called evil that we perceive. Allah is not contradictory. Allah is Jehovah is Krsna is Buddha is......

Mandi has a great answer. Allah is another name for God.
Alot of people think that because Muslims do not believe in the trinity, they do not believe in the same God. These are 2 different things.
God has many names even amongst Christians.

it's logical to say Muslims worship a different deity because the Muslim Allah and the Christian Allah are extremely contrasting.
one vs Triune
kind god vs God is Love

It is not about the name and how they call Him. Like a dog, it is still a dog even if you call it a cat.
The God of Abraham is not God Muslims worship. God of Abraham came here as a teacher,Jesus. Jesus is God. So, Muslims do not worship the same God as Christians. Muslims do not have a Mediator. They believe that deeds will save them, and God's mercy. Jesus is not any part of their salvation. So the concept is totally different. Qur'an is not the Holy Book.

Same God, different variation.
Christians believe in the 'government God'- three branches: father, son, holy spirit (as opposed to executive, judicial, legislative).
Muslims believe in just one branch- father (executive).
So in comparison, they both believe in the president, but Christians take it a bit further and believe in the son and the holy spirit.
