Do you think you are better than us?
Do you believe that we are evil / defective?
Does the fact that we have an open mind and are asking questions about our existence make us dammed in the eyes of your god?

many religious people do consider themselves better than us!
many also believe we are evil
yes they believe we are damned.........
what you are looking for is an explanation to this bizarrness--but religious people are just bizarre--if there is a god--he would not DAMN anyones existence--since he is the creator-
most religious people cannot see the logic in that

I do not think I am better as a Christian than anybody else.
I would only consider you evil if you were like a murderer or rapist.
If I had not been a Christian since I was little, I probably would not be one now. I understand it is hard to convince people to believe in God, Jesus Christ. I just try to set a positive example and try to be the best person I can be and try to help those in need. I hope that by doing this it can open up communication for those seeking to learn more about Jesus Christ.

Personally, I do feel bad for you. Not because of you being "dammed", but because I have found something so amazing and that you haven't. I don't feel I'm better than you, but only more fortunate. God is amazing, and I can only hope that one day you can establish a relationship with Him. I don't think you are evil or that having an open mind is a bad thing, but I will pray that eventually you can find Him. He makes life so much better. :]

The problem is you have not seen the light as you suggest yourself but that does not make us feel sorry for you. The people I feel sorry for are the people who are witnessed to...who are told of the truth of the Gospels and choose to turn their backs on them....You ended your question with the words "Your God" The sad thing is that He is your God also but you just haven't taken the time to find the truth yet.
Suggest you do that at some point. There are many on here who criticise Christians for a number of reasons....but why are there so many Christians and why are they such happy/clappy people? Are you as happy as they are?
When you have a relationship with the 'Living God' you will know for yourself and will wonder why you didn't try to find out more before......I know..I've been there.
Best wishes and may God grant you wisdom in seeking Him.
Mike.

It is "the religious types" that seem to be causing so much of the division in society. God's desire is for us to have, first of all, a relationship with him, then secondly, relationshi with each other. Religious rituals, rules, and false teachings play no part in a true relationship.

The bible actually teaches us to be humble and to think of others more than ourselves.

Satan is evil, not people. We can overcome eveil with good.

The fact that you have an open mind and are asking questions only proves that there is a void within each one of us that only God can fill.

Keep searching my friend. You will find. Knock and the door will be opened.

Yes, I feel sorry for you for it means you're missing out on something good!
No, it doesn't make us any better than you.
No, you are not defective. Evil lives inside you, but isn't you! God has no part of evil; we allow it to become part of us by giving ear to Satan's influence.
No, you're only damned if you blaspheme God and the sacrifice of Jesus as having no effect or not being real. As for your "questions" they're actually good to ask in some regards, for the Scripture only says, "But FOOLISH and UNLEARNED questions AVOID for they doth gender (cause) strife." Questions are good in the right frame of mind, so ask away and try to understand the response, especially if you are seeking a relationship with Him.

Thats a good question. Sadly, at times i do feel sorry for people who refuse to believe in something greater. Its not even that i think everyone should be christian. I just think that a refusal to see outside the physical world is sad, because I believe there is much more to our existence. Though I don't think i'm better than a non-believer at all. I'm a Christian in that I believe that Jesus was/is the son of God, but that doens't make my religion the correct one, it just makes it mine. I don't think God Damns anyone for thier beliefs (or lack of). He puts the signs there, and some people see them, some don't, and some choose not too.

I don't feel sorry for those who think differently than me, because I know we all are in different levels of enlightenment, going straight to spiritual progress one way or the other, and we are all having the chance in this life to achieve a higher level. No existence is in vain and even for those more skeptical, they are learning something important for their spiritual progress.

I don't think I am better than anyone, as I said we are all here to learn.

I don't think atheists or anyone else from other religions evil.

God is so good that He gives us several chances to improve through several lives.

I would call open mind a person that respects other person's opinion and handles differences in a harmonious way.

My religion is Spiritism.
Peace!

I most def believe but I do not think I'm better than anyone or do I believe that your evil, everyone sins and it's up to that person to believe in god and ask for forgiveness. I pray that you will see the light, we can only tell you about the lord and try to get you to believe but if you don't then that's your business. Nobody should dislike you or hate you because of your decision.

No i dont think im better than you, we're all equal in God's eyes. i certainly don't think you're 'evil' but i know you're (like me and everyone else) flawed. No, being open minded is great because only with an open mind can you receive Christ. But i DO feel sorry for you, that you don't know the awesome love of God..
God bless you

I am not a religious type but I do believe in the atonement provided us through Jesus Christ.
I think all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Again same answer all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Those who love and seek the truth receive a gift from God called faith and through faith comes revelation and a relationship with a very real God.
All men are sinners and god si righteous it is the reason he came to the world in the form of man Jesus Christ and did overcome temptation sin and death for those who accept the atonement.
