Ok this is repeatidly asked.

The reason to get diff view points in diff forums here.

But important question.

Is the lack of graphic, honest, realitic, truthful as it is in real life answers , ducking questions, BS, joking, pathetically barely answered questions...

As demonstrated here.

The clear evidence as to why this society has such a high teen pregnancy rate, not due to the fact teenagers have sex as always have and always will.

But clearly the embarrasment , ignorance, lack of education etc demonstrated but a typical slice of people unable to answer the question and forward the person where they can get more info honestly as explaining properly?

Now if the kid had asked how does a car engine work or how do you make pad thai noodles or Creme bruelee you think he would have got a proper answer from everyone?

My personal opinion is that the children know more and experiment more in a group than from their family.
Is TV, Internet, magazines and always friends.
When the parents will understand that a 12 years old child(girl or boy) needs to be spoken too?
The parents should communicate and understand their children.
I am 23 years old and I NEVER got pregnant.
Why?
I was 11 years old when my mum told me about sex, how to protect myself and all the rest.
I started my sexual life at 16, always used protection and always considered my mum a role model, even if she was a single mum with three children.

Yeah, this question does come up way too much... It's a scary question that I'm guessing and hoping teens are just curious and not trying it out with wild abandon... I mean I was not an angel as a teen, but I did have the where with all to know that IF I was going to have sex with someone that I was prepared.. I took the necessary steps, at 16 I went to Planned Parenthoold and went on birth control.. I felt as a young teen woman that was in a relationship going on 2 yrs. that I should be ready, when the time came. I guess parents are lacking in the whole "sex talk"... My mother had me when she was 16 and I wasn't going down that road... I'm 32 yrs. old and proud to say that I planned my children. I dated and eventually married a man that I dated since 1992.... We did not wait to have sex until we were married. We just took the necessary precautions when it came to having sex... Teens need to be responsible for their sexual health and well being.. End of story

Chances are that, that question was either asked by some bored kid trying to get a laugh. Or, some stupid adult trying to get other adults upset.
I knew what sex was when I was in kindergarten. When I was riding home on the bus a boy my age asked me to have sex with him. I went home asked my mom what sex was and she ended up having to tell me.
By the time I was in 3rd grade our school educated us on what sex is.
Sorry when I fist saw this I didn't look at all of the answers. Just the first few. Being that these people don't know if this is a kid really wanting to know is sad. And sick. But sadly kids have all kinds of access to the Internet. And sadly the Internet gives people (not just kids) access to all kinds of things. I really don't understand why parents let their kids on the Internet unsupervised. They wouldn't let their child play unsupervised in the street.
My son is only 14 months old and my husband has put every kind of restriction that he could on the computers. I promise my son, my husband, you, and everyone else who reads this, I will not be one of those parents who let their child have uncontrolled access to the Internet.
Sorry I didn't answer it right the first time....

the simple reason why the yeenage pregnancy rate is so high in the uk-(and you cant blame sex ed or the lack of it cos its in these kids faces everywhere u look) the simple fact is its sooo easy-what i mean is 40 years ago you would not get any financial help/ housing etc but now you do. ps i dont mean having a baby at any age is easy but im sure u know what i mean.

No, this question just shows a bored kid that has nothing better to do than waste our time. If that was a real question it is better answered by a parent anyway.

most teenagers are misguided. they think they know it all and the thought of a baby, benefits, a council house and the fairytale of living happily ever after takes over. when the baby comesand they're scrimping and scraping, reality hits hard. its a shame really

i blame the upbringing!.. parents need to be honest with thier kids i am with mine and have had no problems.... if parents cant talk to their kids about this then who can.. it should not be left to the education system to do it all.. education begins at home!
