No, they do not. As long as they have a ticket and traveling with an adult. I normally bring a birth certificate just incase though because you never know. Most children don't even have ID's anyways.

You have to have an ID for your child just in case they are looking for missing children and after the terrorist attack on John F. Kennedy airport.

no they do not!! if they are under 2 but look older then yes they will ask for a birth certificate if they are flying for free but other than that for domestic travel its not needed.
