Mithra stories originated in Persia after the Israelites where moved into Persia. They took with them the prophesies of Isaiah. The Persian had no problem adding to their list of gods. They heard about the coming Messiah from the Israelites but the Persian did not have any experience with God's prophesies. Instead of recognizing the prophesies as foretelling the coming Messiah the Persians saw the Messiah as already having existed. Remember all their stories are about things that had happened in the past. They, then began to worship Mithra as if all that had happened in the past, not as a prophesy as the Israelites understood it.

Check out the time frames.

Mithra was the pagan myth of Iranian folklore and of Zoroastrianism who fought the Sun and captured the divine Bull and used it`s blood to create plants and animals.
Now how can such a pagan fairy tale be in the same league as Christ Who was a living breathing person?

Get a grip. There have been so many false-Messiahs before and after the appearance of Jesus Christ it is not even funny.

Even Jesus said that there would be many coming who claim to be the Chosen One.

So let's wait and see who is right. After you are dead, get ready for the shocker. Not only will you see Jesus, you will bow to Him and call Him your Lord.
