Hello, I am looking to lose about 50 pounds this year. I have been eating healthy and been cycling/running for the past 2 weeks. I am wondering if I should take Alli to aid me through the trecherous battle of the buldge. I am wondering if the side effects are really that apparent. Have you taken it? Have you lost weight? Have you experienced bad side effects? If so please let me in on it. Thankyou so much!

I am taking Alli. And I will be honest with you. I started Alli Last Monday. So it makes one week today I have been on ALLI. I have previously lost 25 pounds since April already all by myself.

So far, I have lost 2.5 pounds in the first week taking ALLI. I can usually lose about 1 pound a week by myself. So I believe that so far yes it has aided me.

I have not "pooped my pants" or anything super foul like people say. I will tell you that if you eat a high fat meal, that yes you will have the "shits" the next day or POSSIBLY the following day. But I would compare it to the "runs" and nothing more. You could possibly pass gas and have leakage, but again that has not happen to me, and would only be if you had a super high fat meal. I would only take ALLI if you are going to workout still and eat well. Otherwise I don't think it will be that effective.
My friend at work is also taking ALLI, and she has had the "shits" a few times, but has not crapped her pants or had to worry about leakage! She has lost 4 pounds in one week as well.
I hope this info is helpful. Best of luck to you!

I am not personally taking it. I have clients who are and so far only good results have come back to me. No one has experienced the side effects as they've maintained a healthy diet. You need to make sure to eat below 15 grams of fat per meal and also continue to use the cycle like you have been and alli will aid you quite well in your 50 lb quest. Basically for every 5 lbs you lose alli will help to remove an additional 2-3 lbs. That can add up quickly.

So alli really assists you in the weight loss goal. Only one person has mentioned anything about having any type of reaction and it was due to eating to much fat the day before... however there was no leakage it was just a sudden urge to use the bathroom in the morning. Then for the rest of the day they were fine and also went back to eating right that day and everthing was fine.. If you want to read more or find alli at the best possible prices go to:

I hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to send a post out or an email to the above website.

Alli may be a good aid with diet and excersice. I have been taking it for a week and a half and have lost 4 lbs.
If you eat low fat you will not experience any side effects, but if you eat to much fat ( over 15 grams per meals) you will need to use the bathroom. I have had a few times that i have ran to the bathroom, but i have not had any accidents. You can pretty much tell when you need to go. Its beasicaly a loose bowl movement with oil floating in the bowl. Kinda gross , but it is only 25% of the fat you ate, imagine the rest of it that did not get rejected by your body.

I have been taking Alli for three days. I have had no negative side effects at all. However, I do eat a low fat healthy diet and I have for years. I have lost 80 lbs slowly over 4 years and I am taking Alli to see if it will help me lose my last 20 or so lbs. So for me, it is worth it - but I am committed to a healthy lifestyle and I don't worry about the effects because I eat healthy anyway.
Good luck!

I have not taken it but I have taken others that do the same thing. Lets look at it for a minute. It blocks the absorption of fats and other little nasties in food. So what's going to happen to them ? You guessed it Diarreah! And once you stop taking them, you go right back to your original weight. The only way to safely and effectively lose weight and keep it off is what you are already doing - diet and excercise.

ive been taking it ever since it came out and honestly there are really bad side effects and they say u should only use it if u intend to stick to less tha 15 g of fat/meal so if u do decide to go on this pill u should be prepared for a low cal diet! worth it? maybe not. the side of this pill will cause u to lose a lot of energy which u could use to burn some more of those cals!

I have just started taking it as well. like the previous person stated as long as you watch what you eat, you will not have the bad side effects.

I have just started so I have not weighed to see if i have lost any weight. I have combined the pills with WW

I wouldn't take anything like that. Haven't you heard about the poop exploding out the butt side effect?
