no right answers as yet and there is water in the tank.
bonus question: will the water level rise fall, or stay the same when the mermaid is fully submerged, but has not yet touched the bottom?

no one has been right so there is no best answer. sooooo
answers...the water level will fall.when in the boat the statu pushes the boat down by an amount of water equal to the weight of the statue.once on the bottom and not attached to the boat the statue will only cause the water to rise by an amount equal to the volume of water displaced. AND because bronze is extreeemly dense the weight of the sculpture displaces more water than the volume.
bonus: believe it or not, but the water level will remain unchanged until the sculpture is on the bottom of the tank and the pressure on the rope is released. phew!

Rise so slightly it'd be hard to measure. And lower a touch when Angelo takes his rowboat out.

the water level in the tank will stay the same as the weight of the statue in the boat will have already displaced the water

no cos the water has already been displaced by the weight of the boat and the statue

it will stay the same. The pressure from the boat has already displaced the whatever.

the water would rise as the object will displace the density

it will rise as soon as any part of the mermaid is in the water, due to diplacement, and when shes fully submerged the water has risen dramatically..

It should stay the same because of displacement
