you did not state what type of job you have as that plays a role in determining the caloric intake if it is physically active. but with your daily level of exercise 1500 cals is about where you want to be. you want to slowly decrease your caloric intake by 10% each week. with only 2 days a week of exercise your diet is going to have to be near perfect to reach your goal so the source of your calories is just as important. you want to shoot for 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fats daily. make sure you get in 30 grams of fiber daily. the higher the fiber intake the lower resting serum insulin levels are.

Well I'm 20, 5'5" and weight 157 and I think I look normal, I love my weight, I would just like to tone a little. A lot of women that are 20 and around our height think the normal weight is 121 which is bull ****! Try eating 1600 calories a day, my little brother is morbid obese and he lost 65lbs in 6weeks by eating 1600 calories and walking for 30 mins a day. So if he can do it anyone can, your not that far from normal (whatever that is suppose to mean). Trust me you'll get there soon, but stay away from soda and sugar! Good Luck!

You need to create a deficit of 3500 calories to lose one pound - either through a reduction of caloric intake, an increase in calories burned, or (the best option) both.
You are already eating 900 calories per day less - so that's a GREAT start! At that rate you will lose 1.8 lbs per week even without exercise. With exercising twice a week, depending on what you are doing, you could easily increase that to 2 - 2.5 lbs a week.
You should not lose any more than that in a week anyway, so stick with what you are doing!

If you can up your exercise to 3.5 times a week (every other day) and limit calories to 1450 or so, you should lose a safe 1 to 2 pounds per week. Remember, weight lost slowly tends to be more likely to be weight that doesn't return, because you've retrained yourself how to eat.

Eat only when hungry and not more than three times a day with nothing, except water, in between. Take plenty of uncooked food, vegetables and fruits, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel 32 times to activate ur body system to signal hunger and fullness.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve much more than what u r planning to do and that too in a reasonable period. Do not be in a hurry.

try to exercise about 10-20 minutes a day and then work your way up to about 30 minutes about 3 times a week. you should intake fever calories each week . start at like 1500 and then go down to about 1000 thats the fewest you should want to go. good luck =) hope that helps

I weigh about the same as you and I recenty talked to my doctor about weight loss and he has me on a diet of 1200 cals a day.
