The covenant was with Abram[Abraham],not with modern-day Israelis. The blessings extended to all the families of earth, not Jews.Yes,I believe it's the Last Days, but not pop-prophecy that revolves around the people spoken of in REV.2:9.Read Galatians and Hebrews, and you'll see the truth in God's Word for yourself.

God kept all the promises he made to the Israelites.
Israel lost what God granted them, through their repeated apostacy ... apostacy which included failing to recognize their Messiah ... and instead, having him killed.
God kept all the promises he made to the people of Israel. Unfortunately, they never kept ANY of the promises they made to him.
Israel remains a largely apostate, and certainly, anti-Christian nation today.
Therefore, what they lost, they lost of their own volition.
The Christian Church is the new people of God, and the Holy Nation which has since inherited all of God's promises.
Israel needs to accept Christ to reclaim her birthright.
Christian Zionists won't accept or understand this, but the truth is perfectly clear.
Without Christ, expect more of the same for Israel.

The fact that Christians are so involved with the tiff in the middle east causes terrorism to focus on the West.
Please let them sort it out for themselves.
If you came across two neighbors on the other side of town fighting over their property line, shouldn't you just let them be and sort it out for themselves. Instead people get involved and then give out their addresses so that enemies are made on one side or the other.

Good for them.
A 6,000 year old claim to land is worthless. On that basis everyone of European decent should be expelled from the USA - none of it was their land as little as 600 years ago.

The WCC has little or nothing to do with "our" church. As far back as the 70s they were kissing up to regimes known to persecute Christians. I believe Richard Wurmbrand (founder of what has become Voice of the Martyrs) himself felt they had been infiltrated by non-believers with political agendas.
