Which other religious Book tells us that this iz wrong? Does the Koran, the Torah, the Talmud or other religious Books have the authority on precreation among ur own kind. Its mind bothering some times to learn that this Nation USA can condole politically and socially same sex marriage but not same kin marriage. The same KJV Bible can be soooo contridicting at times after read'n that the first man called Adam made love to himself, married himself and had children with him self (Eve she Adam) I'm speak'n of the first female that came from him and of him, named by him and remarked by him, "flesh of my flesh bone of my bones etc.". What about the man they called Lot who impregnated his two daughters at their own plann'n and no one wuz condemed by any religious group then nor now. Does the argument of incest applies to all Ethnicity or cultures or the so called Royal family of the U.K.? Please read Genesis chapter 2:21-24 also Genesis chapter 19: 30-38 about Lot.

Ah well, some people just need to try and find excuses to want to "do it' with their sister/mother/aunt/grandmother (which one is it you have the hots for and are upset twon't fo it with you?)

Bottom line is that not only is it wrong according to the forbidden relationships in Leviticus, it is wrong scientifically, leading to the fixing of recessives in the offspring which lead to genetic errors manifested as both physical and mental abnormalities (I know the politically correct term is to call them "differently abled", but for the purposes of this discussion, the errors in the genetic code that are fixed and transmitted are abnormalities)

it is ASSUMED that there will be birth defects in children of related parents, but that just isn't always the case. My best friend in Jr. High met a guy and fell madly in love, they later married and had two beautiful children. On their youngest son's fifth birthday they got a letter for a P.I. telling them he had found his birth parents. It was her parents. Turns out that the parents had gotten pregnant in school and gave the child for adoption and later married and had three more. They had no idea where the first son was.
Their children were perfect even though they were brother and sister.

The Bible says not to lay with your sister, your mother or your aunt because then people would not go out to get fresh DNA for the family to survive. There is no way that routinely interbreeding can be healthy. I am sure that after a few generations there will be defects and such, but there is no real proof, mostly because no one WANTS to be with their sister or brother, or even their parents, really.

Lot was not responsible for what his daughters did, and I have asked the same questions, also who did Seth (Adam and Eve's son) marry if there were no other humans?

I don't think race/ethnicity has anything to do with incest. you must be on a different subject.

The word is and as are spelled with an S. Not with a Z. And speaking and reading are spelled with a g at the end and no apostrophes.

And just from a genetic standpoint it's not a good thing to marry and have children with immediate relatives. There is a higher chance of birth defects, mutations, and genetic and mental disorders. Why do you think that hemophilia was such a problem with the royals in the past?

The WRONG part is primarily because it is wrong for anyone to do what the inbreding does - it brings forth all of the wrong genes. Look at animals that have been inbred - Gernab Shepard dogs in the 1970's for example. Puppies had hip displacia and all other forms of genetic defects. It would not have happened with an open pool of genes.

Sexual relations with close family relations was not forbidden until Leviticus 18:6 because until that time our blood was still to pure to have to worry about the genetic abnormalities that come from incestuous relationships. Secondly Adam didn't marry himself as marriage is by definition between two people to make them one flesh.
If you really want to marry your close kin though I'm pretty sure there are plenty of countries that you can move to that won't have an issue with it.

Incest was not forbidden in bible times. It was allowed in order for mankind to fill the earth, just as God told Adam and Eve. But it was thousands and thousands of years later that incest was forbidden and viewed as a crime because of the ill effects it has on the kind of breed or progeny such a relationship produced e.g. deformities and abnormalities.

i think its okay to love anyone i just think society teaches not to love family members because inbreeding can cause birth defects. If everyone inbred than the human race would be done. But the chances of everyone loving a family member (like enough to have kids have sex w/e) are miniscule.

First, the bible DOES condemn Lot and his daughters. Second the reason the society doesn't allow it is genetic, not scriptural. Inbred offspring, are genetically inferior. But if you have the hots for your sister, go ahead, but your kids may end up on Yahoo as "What should I do retards."

I'm not sure about Adam and Eve, maybe there were more than one first couple?
The reason not to have kids may be from religion, idk. There is however, a very big genetics reason. For example, the Egyptians keep inbreeding and eventually the became misshapen idiots that were crazy, among other freeky things.

It is not a matter of religion any more. we have learned that the genetic material needs to mix with a different unrelated genepool to keep healthy. too much inbreeding causes severe mental and physical deformations.

Please don't ask me for examples. you may not like the answer
