If you are comfortable with your beliefs - keep it to yourself or your friends. You're gumming up the works in here by trying to pass off your preaching as questions. I am pretty sure we all know who Jesus is at this point.

Wow - so many angry religious people - sounds like some of you need to save yourselves from "el diablo"

If you have a real religous question - then ask it. If you pose the question as just a way to preach - take it somewhere else. That was the point I was making. I never said that I was an athiest.

Most people are not really trying to convince others but are more likely in need of convincing themselves.

I'm not a fanatic and I don't do it but, some people feel the necessity to introduce Jesus in an anonymous way. The Bible said, "Go forth and preach the gospel to every living creature." It is a difficult thing to do for a Christian to walk up to a stranger and risk looking strange or foolish. Those who do this feel they have found an outlet where they don't have to read peoples reactions to their apostatizing. Yahoo Answers offers them a unique forum to actually practice what they call "The Great Commission." I wouldn't complain if I were you because we live in a wonderful country where they can exercise free speech as well as the other Answers users who want to ask about thier sex lives and other private affairs.

I have a question for you:
If you don't believe in God or an afterlife, why be on here asking why Christians are posting on yahoo answers about Jesus. After all, if this is the only life that you have and all there is to it, why waste your time sitting at a computer criticizing people that you think you are smarter than. It seems like a waste of time to me.
By the way, if you really knew who Jesus was and is, you would want to have Him as a part of your life and share Him with others, just as we do.

Although I don't fit under the category you just talked about, I'd like to tell you that you're not very nice. Please be careful when you choose your words so that you don't hurt anyone. Y/A is full of all kinds of nice people from different backgrounds and those people happen to have different interests. Some like to talk about computers, some like to talk about cars, some like to talk about make-up, etc, and others like to talk about religious matters. Each and every one would try to convince you with his/her belief and interest - whether this belief has to do with what is the best way to wear make-up, which car is best, or religion/faith (etc)!

So please read and participate in the sections which suit your interests. If religion does not happen to be one of your interests, then don't read posts from this category as no one forced you to do that.

Maybe you should stay out of the Religious & Spirituality section. It seems to me that you are just looking for something to argue about or complain about. How many Christians do you see in here asking why all the Atheists kepp trying to convince them that there is no God or Muslims in here calling all of you infidels. Try using your head for once instead of a place to keep your gum.

...We love Jesus and you also, and would dearly love for you to be in Heaven with our Lord and us after life is over.
...Although many know about Jesus, not enough have trusted in Him as Lord and Savior, and they need to believe on Him to be saved. That's why we keep pestering you, friend.
...One more thing - we cannot stop preaching what we have seen and heard.
...Acts 4:18-19 says this:
...18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
...19 But Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. 20For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard."

You mean, sort of like how you are preaching to us on how we should act and what we should do, and calling it a question?

Like that, right?
