Gosh, years ago, years and years ago, on the island of Maui, a merry gaggle of us from Oahu danced around a fire on the moonlit beach. You're right, it was amazing! Thanks for bringing back the memory.
(Ooops! I just noticed that you were addressing Christians. I'm atheist. Sorry.)

I don't think you need to be Pagan to dance and drum-circle around a fire. I know some progressive churches have tried it.

It's amazing until you're the one the smoke follows.

No, I was just reading where you said you did that at the festival you went to, and I'm jealous. I think I'd be much more likely to go to something like that than a huge Christian festival. I'm glad you had fun!

yep, yes i do! i go to this native drumming ritual on occassion. once they even let me throw the tabacco on the drum it was so cool.
ive also done this while completely plastered at a bonfire party....naked. and i walked on the fire.
but i'm not your regular humdrum christian lol.

OK - i will admit it was at girl scout camp and we had the campfire going and the boom box playing music, but the girls and us leaders had an amazing time.....
plus it wore them out before bedtime!!
