A loved one, because everyone would say that and that stranger is someones loved one. So in the end both would live.

While the quick response would be a loved one, I would also take into account the age..IE (relative 90, stranger an infant), health and life quality of both people..Wow, hopefully I will never have the opportunity to "play God"..

When I was a kid, I used to think this question when I was hurt, angry, or upset.
'Ride it, it will pass'.
One must, like the hero in the Spy films, "save the 'world', AND get the 'girl'", methinks. :-)
'Strangers' are amongst my most loved people.

That depends on the will of God, if one was saved and the other was not then I hope that God will let my soul make the righteous decision. That my friend is when you pray. But I would pray that God let me help the unsaved one.

A loved one, as you can count on their help and support if you need it. Also they're less likely to eat me if they ran out of food.
