to be honest the best way is not to go on a diet as ive tried them all and diet pills and they dont work lol but just change your diet and go swimming 4-5 times a week for about an hour each time it tones your tummy and all your body up wonderful too ! i lost 2 stone since may its great and i eat loads too im just eating the right foods but instead of swimming try aqua arobics its great and really fun ! great question star for you and goodluck !

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

To lose 1lb a week you need a negative calorie balance of 500 calories per day. To lose weight at 2lb a week you need to reduce your calorie intake by 1000 calories a day

eat a well balanced diet with proper portions, walk 30 minutes every day and drink plenty of water. read the book "You on a diet".

no such thing as spot reduction
do cardio exercise - to burn fat - jogging, bike riding, walking, dancing, swimming, martial arts
lift weights - to increase body's ability to burn fat and enhance long, lean and toned look
do core exercises - to strengthen and tone abdominal oblique and back muscles to enhance the long, lean torso - push ups, crunches, etc. yoga is great for this
cut out sugars, high fructose corn syrup, trans fat, fast food, processed foods - to decrease caloric intake
increase proteins - to ensure health, keeps muscles strong and toned
