the 60-second commercial - which is reported to have cost up to £500,000 to make - shows a team of bakers, model makers and home economists as they set about creating an edible version of the car.
If you google 'daily mail' and put in ..car made of cake, you will get a run down on how everything was made.

I would really love it if it were.... It looks pretty real. My friend is a model maker and works on adverts and films, so I know that it's not always as it seems. For instance, if you see a chocolate bar on an advert, it's nearly always about 400 times the size in real life.... So if that's true for this advert... that's 400 times the cake!! (But probably fake cake... booo)

Yes it is. there was an advert in the Journal a couple of weeks ago with the complete recipe used to make it. There was also a complaint that the makers had not cut it up and given pieces of it to the poor!

Well, if it shows them sticking the stuff on, it probably might have the frame in sweet form, but the bits underneath may be a sneaky frame...

Adverts dont like giving stuff away

Yes, but they couldn't eat it as it went off when they finished making it. Bit of a waste really. But a great advert!

No! They are bullcrappers. If you want a quality car advert, go for the Vauxhall Corsa, with all those funny little "come on" puppets. They rule.

Go to www.newfabia.co.uk It's all on there, and it was made at a place not far from where I live and I can guarantee you it was real.
