Can I reach Malibu...?

... by bus or underground? If not, how long does it take to go there by car from Santa Monica? Thanks!

from Santa Monica you can take a Metro 534 direct to
Malibu it usually runs every half hour expect during rush
hours when it runs about every ten minutes but be forwarned
those early morning bus are PACKED with domestics
going to work..
cost is $1.25 each way
as by car it should take about 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic

Grey ---It wouldn't take you very long at all by car those cities are real close to each other...The City of Malibu is shaped kinda like a worm and runs along the coast line northwest of Santa Monica......It probably wouldn't take more then 10 or 15 minutes for you to get from SM to the south eastern tip of the City of Malibu, but it runs for quite a way along the shore..

Actually, MM is right. Even though the bus may be packed with domestic help in the morning, PCH is packed with commuters in the afternoon. Now that summer is here, you may see a lot more beachgoers on that route.

There is no underground that goes to the beach. There SHOULD be, but it's a long and sad story.

About like maybe 4 days. Cuz I know that in Illinois it takes 2 1/2 days but then from Santa Monice 4 days. You might want to buy a plane tho.

It also depends on which way your going.
