If you are told to wear formal clothes, then you will need a suit, either with skirt or trousers, with a shirt, flesh coloured tights, and smart black shoes with a heel (but not kitten heels).

If you're told smart casual, then avoid jeans, trainers, trackies, hoodies, t-shirts etc. You will need a shirt and smart trousers or skirt, and reasonably smart shoes.

Any traditional clothes from India are not acceptable in the workplace.

It depends entirely on your role in the IT industry. If you are a manager then smart (Not jeans). If you are on the call centre or the repair bench, then casual.

Smart - although it depends on which industry you will be in.
