"Eu vi isto" or "Eu vi isso" (the 2nd is literally "I saw that" but the 2 are often used interchangeably)

You cannot say "Eu vi este" without something after the "este", so it's okay to say "Eu vi este filme" (I saw this movie), but you can't say it w/o the "filme"

Try going to Altavista.com and click the Babel Fish Translation. I'm not sure if it has Portuguese in there, but you could check.
