Jessie Davis and her unborn baby were found dead. The father of the baby and her 2 year old son is, who is STILL married, is had been arrested in connection with the murder.

This guy's church (what kind of church supports a man who cheated on his wife AND could possibly be the killer of his mistress?) held a special service in support of him. What do you make of all this?

First of all, he's been arrested - not convicted, although it sure doesn't look good for him at all.

As to the church having a service for the guy, I think they were hoping that it turned out that he was NOT the killer, etc. Looks like they lost on that one. A lot of people have been accused of a lot of things and found to be completely innocent later. Do you remember the guy that was hounded by the FBI because they thought he was the Olympic Park bomber in Atlanta? He was innocent, but he went through hell because people thought he was guilty.

I don't know. Maybe a "Christian" church?

Hey, did you know that most of the New Testiment was not only written by a murderer, but a man who infamously murdered Christians? Yet, God chose this man to do most of his talking. Why do you think that is?

What ever happened to the concept of grace and mercy? Whatever happened to being a forgiving Christian?

I don't know if this man is guilty or not but I do know that for a church to ban any member because of his crimes or alleged crimes is about as backwards as a hospital denying a patient admittance because he was too sick.

Put down your stones. If you'd bother to read that Bible you hit others over the head with you'd realize that Christ didn't judge anyone, he just loved all.

Happily Conservative, huh? More like Joyously Judgmental.

Well its always been my thought that a chruch should never turn anyone away or not help someone asking for help right?

So what if he wants to be saved who are to tell them they shouldn't try and save his soul?

but in my opinion the church is just trying to get its name out there and garner interest in the bible so people will go look and see what it says about the topic.
