Star Trek day again? Didn't we just have one? Any way of getting advance notice?
Kirk was better than Janeway, I think she's got her priorities mixed up. I still like her, though. Strong and sensitive.

Janeway is hot
But when Q proposes to send them home, in exchange for her having a kid with him she says no, thus dooming the crew to 40 year voyage.
Is this the mark of a good captain? Faced with a female Q offering the same, Kirk would have done his duty.

Kirk was a misogynist, Janeway's accent was just grating, leaving Picard as the greatest captain of the Enterprise by far.

I am an atheist, and it is my professors who told me I am smart. Like Socrates, I know men know little and usually less that they believe they know. I am not familiar with Janeway, but I doubt that he is better than Kirk. No one has been yet, so my reply is an educated guess.

no of course not! Kirk was the original! He will always be the best! Did you ever see Janeway fight side by side with Abraham Lincoln or make out with a Romulan? Of course not!

Janeway defeated the Borg. Kirk set an example for Star Fleet for all time. They both have their place in the "Star Trek" pantheon.
Oh yeah... and I'm not an atheist.

She did a good job, in the few episodes of Voyager I watched. But that series didn't interest me. I'm not a racist, but I couldn't buy a black Vulcan, when none had been seen in any other trek episode or movie. And, the holographic doctor wasn't that great either. For me it's TOS or TNG all the way.

hell no, ever since TNG the captains have gotten more of a 'Brady bunch' attitude. Kirk just beat everyone into submission. His idea of diplomacy was setting the ships phasers on stun...
