Is Montoya the dirtiest driver in NASCAR? How many guys did he piss off yesterday? Lets see, he spun out Kurt Busch, he almost wrecked Johnson, ran into the side of Jamie Mcmurray a couple times... Can anyone add to this list??? I'm sure there was more...

He is just reckless. Dirty is a strong word. Nascar did not issue any warnings to him as I recall. Dirty is a guy who is 2 or more laps down and won't let you pass. Or, runs up your tail pipe on purpose. Not dirty, just aggressive.

There was a time when Dale Earnhardt Sr was both feared AND respected for doing the same things that Juan does. Tony Stewart causes nearly as many wrecks as Montoya, often times out of stupidity and anger. At least Juan's careless driving is usually the result of his overwhelming desire to do whatever it takes to get to the front. Now he's not my favorite driver and I don't always agree with what he does but I take my hat off to him for his win yesterday. To come from the back and pass all the cars he did was amazing. Yeah, he rubbed a few people and I was calling him a few names when he was roughing up Jimmie, but at the end of the day he only spun Kurt (nothing Kurt hasn't done on occasion), raced extremely hard and ended up a first time cup champ. Say what you will but he can drive. I'm getting tired of defending his Busch win but I don't put ALL the blame on Juan for that one either. The crew chiefs, Chip and Felix should have all been talking about what to do WHEN Juan got to Scott Pruett, not If. They should have had some plan for where to let him go by and they would have had an easy 1-2 finish for Ganassi. Dale Sr would have respected him for not backing down being a new driver to the series. Juan Pablo Montoya still has a lot to learn but he is a great addition to NASCAR and will open the door for more open wheel drivers and probably for more Latinos. He is more reckless than dirty, I think Smoke does more stuff out of spite.

well if Montoya is a dirty driver then so is Johnson, Jordan, Stewart, Bush, should I continue with the list. The problem is that yes Montoya is a very aggressive driver but when Stewart started so was he and many other drivers are aggressive get over your boohoo and get a life. Montoya is a excellent road course driver and I new he going to excell on the road course and many other people felt the same way. Honest you dont think Chip knew what kind of driver he was when he hired him
DUH

It is absolutely hilarious to hear people complain about a little bumping and rubbing.

Isnt this the same arguement NASCAR fans use to proclaim thier racing is better than F1. How many drivers in the history of NASCAR have done the same thing. If JPM was not South American and from one of your nice tobacco growing good 'ole boy states you would just say he is aggressive (hmmmm...does Sr. ring a bell).

We know why most people do not like Montoya and it is not because of his racing either.

You guys are full of B.S. The only move i can see that was "dirty" was on Busch and that wasnt dirty because it was an accident. All the moves he made were clean and so what if he traded a few bumps with Johnson, Jnr and McMurray.

I thought all you guys loved the bump and grind of Nascar. Oh i forgot thats only when the driver you support wins. He was so much faster than all those other guys and was overtaking so many people he was bound to have some close calls with some of the racers.

And Gene L: He has won CART and F3000 titles and was a real contender in F1 but never had the car to do win in. He won indy 500 at first attempt and the Monaco GP(which is the hardest race in the world to win). He set 7 poles in Michael schumachers dominant 2002 season but was left down by poor reliability in races so to say he doesnt have what it takes is well wide of the mark.

I have no idea how much this real Nascar drivers can put up with this guy, i mean everytime they showed the on board camera on Montoya, he'd be slammin into someone.

Bump-drafting, nudging, and aggressive driving has always been a hallmark of nascar. I can remember a little man by the name of Cale Yarborough that made himself a giant by racing along sides the likes of Bobby Allison and the King himself, Richard Petty. He was aggressive, drove like a man possessed and took as good as he gave. Nascar today as a whole is not aggressive, and some people look at the "old school" style of driving as "dirty" , but it really is thr roots of racing....

Juan is the dirtiest driver in NASCAR and I can't wait till the other drivers have had enough and start wreckin' him!!! At one point you couldn't keep him away from Johnson and finally Jimmie had enough and bumped him right back. I've noticed that Juan Pablo and Ryan Newman do not like to give and take . . . well, they just don't like to give ;0)

No, he is not the dirtiest racer in Nascar. Yeah, he punted Kurt Busch, but Kurt and his brother are ******* so who cares. He raced hard with Jimmie Johnson and Jamie, but he didn't race dirty. Don't be a little girl and cry because somebody traded a little paint.....

If everybody drove like Kyle Petty, it would put you to sleep.

Common now! Let's not be poor sports about this. I don't like Montoya and I hate the way he runs over other Drivers. He has done it in IRL, F1, and now NASCAR; but he won yesterday and we shouldn't be getting soar about it. So he got one. So what. He got one in IRL, F1, and now NASCAR; but he never finishes what he starts; he has never won a major series Championship; and probably never will.
