obviously, being Christian, I support this. But, why is it america does not seem to have a problem with abortion, but they are charging the Jessie Davis' murder with murder of the fetis?

Okay, it has been established that it is because Davis was 9 months pregnant. Do you think this would still be the case if she were only 4-5 months pregnant?

First not all American's support abortion, Abortion is legal currently but I believe it's only during the first few weeks of the pregnancy. (when the "fetus" is unable to sustain life outside of the mother) Sparking the arguement of when "life" actually begins thus sparking the Right to Life/Right to Choose fight. Because Jessie Davis set to deliver any day (and the infant was full term and could have lived if she had given birth) it is considered a double homicide. (I think they may even consider it a double homicide if she were only a few weeks pregnant because she didn't choose to terminate the pregnancy. the murderer did) I am not 100% on that last one thought.

Because to have an abortion there is a certain time period you can have one, before the fetus fully develops. As for being charged with murder for the unborn baby, in the eyes of the law it was already a human therefore the charges. She was 9 months pregnant if I remember correctly.

The Pro-Abortion camp needs to do some homework.

There ARE Legal abortions going on every day even into the 8th month. If she had wanted an abortion she could have gotten a legal "Partial Birth" Abortion, even when the baby could have lived on it's own had it not been Murdered.

Andria Yates got prison for killing her kids, but others do it every day.

Our loss of respect for life is showing up in other areas of Society also.

Peace!

The charge of murdering the fetus is a rather shifty back-door attempt to create a crime where none existed before, in order to further attack a woman's right to choose abortion.

She was 9 months pregnant. I'm VERY pro-Choice, but abortion at this stage of development is not an option. Personally, I believe that RU-486 should be available on demand to avoid anything even resembling a late term abortion, but the radical right won't allow that.

Because it IS murder. That's exactly what it is. If it were NOT a valued human life, it could not be considered murder. But IT IS a valued human life.
In the eyes of God, anytime ANYONE kills a child(fetus), though still in the mother - IT IS MURDER.

Because she was in the late stage of her pregnancy. The fetus would have been viable outside of the womb.

If she had been in the first trimester, it would have been only one murder charge.

If the 'fetus' is viable then it is considered to be a person who can be murdered. Basically if it is past the months for legal abortion.

Good question. I being a Christian, believe that God is the giver of the breath of life when the fetus exits the mothers womb.
God imputes soul life "Ne-sha-ma". The mother has biological life, not soul life.
