Not everyone that says Lord, Lord will enter into Heaven............
Your works alone can't get you to Heaven.
Faith without work is Dead
So how sure are you that you will be covered by the Blood of the Lamb on Judgement Day...

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Look up the word REPENT
FOR the PROMISE is unto YOU, and to YOUR children, and to ALL that are afar off, EVEN AS MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL...

I believe Eds nailed it for us. I'll add
Philippians 2:12-15 "Shining as Lights in the World"
"Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings; That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
The proper place for God's people is among the lost. For only in such a position can true Christian witness be borne and influence for the gospel be effectively exerted. Yet believers must be without rebuke so they suffer no moral damage by contact with the unsaved. Among the unbelievers we are to shine. Working out our salvation with fear and trembling only means one is not always aware of what God will require of them. These Christians were killed and martyred for their faith in Christ and every day they faced death in the face; knowing death for them was better than life.
Romans 4:6-8 "Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Faith is a means through which God can impute the righteousness of Jesus Christ to the sinner. The sinner is accounted righteous and not made righteous. Salvation is a free gift from God.

Yes! I am covered by the blood of the Lamb! I have immense faith that Jesus died on the Cross for my sins, that He rose again on the third day, and that He is coming back soon to take those of us who have accepted His free gift to Heaven. His blood cleanses me and makes me pure in the sight of God Himself! I attend Church so I can grow in the knowldge of Christ and so that I can meet people with like interests and goals. I tithe fully (now after many years of giving nothing) and since have been blessed tenfold. Oh, and I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. I admit I'm lazy and don't bake pies or do pot lucks but I don't think that's where my gift lies. As I grow more obedient to the Holy Spirit's prompting, I grow closer to discovering my purpose. Oh if only I had started years ago!

I Believed the gospel
I Repented of my past sins
I Confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior
I was Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the rimission of my sins
And if I continue to walk according to His ways, I hope to recieve a 'crown of life" (eternal life).

Yes I am. I have accepted Christ as my Savior & Lord.
Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Romans 8:1-4 1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

Wow, wonderful question:
I am covered by the blood of Jesus because i have been baptised in the NAME OF JESUS, I have recieved the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and I have always felt God tugging at my shirt whenever i would stray away. God has been so good to me that he blessed me to be brought up in the truth. If i continue to seek Gods faith then he will continue to do great things for me.
"Faith without works is dead"
To me this means if i have faith that God will bless me to go to heaven then i have to work towards it in my daily walk. Feeding the poor, helping the sick won't save me but if I do according to Gods will "WITHOUT EXCUSE" then i am doing my part. Paul said "I PRESS toward the mark of the high calling...", Press means "to Push, "to Force", you have to be aggressive witht this thing. I CAN'T HAVE FAITH AND JUST SIT THEIR WAITING FOR GOD TO DO SOMTHING. I have to work while having faith believing that God will do as he said.
Work pretains too (Getting baptised, Living Holy etc.)
"Your reward in heaven will depend on what you've done on earth".

Yes, I accepted Jesus as my Savior and I know that faith is all you need.. you can not do it by works because then we wouldn't have needed a Saviour if we could've done it on our own.
As far as that faith is dead without deeds it refers to not having any fruits showing after you have received salvation. What good is your testimony if you act as if your life has not changed in any way when it has changed tremendously.

Sandy,
I believe that I will be among the saved at the Judgment. To become a Christian, we are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament. It is our Christian Guide. Have a great day!
Thanks,
Eds
