Some will say yes others will say no.

The place of limbo (purgatory) was created by the catholic church. Some will say divinely inspired others will say that because it is in the unchanging text that its false.

Not true. The pope banned limbo a month or two ago, it was in all the papers. Thank you Mr Pope! But, the people who are in limbo have got to stay there, because they committed the sin when it was a sin, even though it is no longer. All very mysterious.

Absolutely not. Limbo doesn't even exist! The only way to heaven is through belief in Jesus as saviour and repentence of sin. Baptism is a choice believers make to declare their committment to the faith and has no bearing in itself on whether or not one goes to heaven.

Strangely enough it USED to be true, but is no longer the case. The Pope decided to overturn this notion, as babies who die before they are christened surely don't deserve to spend forever in limbo. So he abolished the idea.

"Our conclusion is that the many factors that we have considered above give serious theological and liturgical grounds for hope that unbaptized infants who die will be saved and enjoy the beatific vision. We emphasize that these are reasons for prayerful hope, rather than grounds for sure knowledge. There is much that simply has not been revealed to us. We live by faith and hope in the God of mercy and love who has been revealed to us in Christ, and the Spirit moves us to pray in constant thankfulness and joy.
What has been revealed to us is that the ordinary way of salvation is by the sacrament of baptism. None of the above considerations should be taken as qualifying the necessity of baptism or justifying delay in administering the sacrament. Rather, as we want to reaffirm in conclusion, they provide strong grounds for hope that God will save infants when we have not been able to do for them what we would have wished to do, namely, to baptize them into the faith and life of the Church."

If someone is not 'saved' or 'born again' they will not enter the Kingdom of God. I believe that when people are old enough to choose their path and do not choose to be saved or born again...they lose the right to enter the Fathers Kingdom. Before such time as they are of an age to make such a rational decision.....if they die, then I believe we are living under a God of Grace and mercy and He would take them...in their innocence.... through His love and compassion...into His Kingdom.
Best wishes, MIke.

It's only some Christians who believe that, not all. Don't quote me on this cos I don't know but I think it might be a Catholic thing, cos it is sort of similar to the whole pergatory theory.
Too complicated - heaven and hell get my brain in enough of a mess without adding extra "holding pens"

Personally it's about your beliefs. Religious people believe that if you do not worship god then you won't have a place in heaven, personally I believe when you're dead, that's it! Don't let anyone convince you otherwise, if you're not a believer then whoever said that to you should take that into consideration and stop saying stupid things. Religion is the dangerous weapon yet ....

NO NO NO -----It is not true.
I will say what I want because no longer are women burnt at the stake and put onto a ducking stool to drown.
Apart from the bletherings of the church, which is manned by humans, there is a natural scheme of things.

Well sweetie, what is limbo? It is a place of holding where both good and bad souls are judged. Does that remind you of anything... Earth maybe?

Not true.
Limbo is an invention of the Catholic church.
In all creation, you will never find such a place.
It does not exist.
God provides 2 choices:
Existing or not existing.
