My gf says that theyre not the same thing and I say that they are. Whos right and if not, whats the difference!

I think your GF is right about this one. The way I see it, "french kissing" and "making out" are two separate parts of the closeness a couple feels when they're together. There's also cuddling, hugging, and "pillow talk".

They are not the same. Making out is only refers to locking lips. French kissing refers to a kiss longer, deeper, and intensifying using the tongue.

i always thought they wee both the same..when my friend says.."i made out with my bf" we all know they frenched..so yea

depends on how long u known the person...if you been dating for more than a month...your not "making out" anymore...
