Scrap the words, they're about as effective now as a juice box stating that its 100% juice. Action, not words.
And when they say it, say it back.

Words are cheap... someone can slap your face and then say I love you. Words are just words.

I say I love you a lot. I think people need to hear that for reassurance. But I never say it unless I am prepared to show it.

My husband does not say it often - in words. But he shows it in so many ways. He takes care of me and most of the time he puts me first.

I do the same for him. Anything we can do to make the other feel special and less burdened - then that is what we do.

Not because we have to - but because we love each other and want to.

I love you in what you do and in what you say. As the old saying goes actions speak louder than words.

When both of you are alone in a quiet environment, take her hand and tell her in her eyes that you love her and then kiss her hand....wait for her response! If she moves away, bad news. If she smiles, continue with whatever declaration you want to make!

Good luck!

You can't beat "I love you." But don't forget to back it up by treating her with respect and being faithful.

I love you...simple.
Don't say it if you don't mean it though.
