My cat, occasionally, vomits semi-digested food. Is this a sign that we are feeding her too much? Is this also a sign that she may be bored and eating out of boredom? The latter question sounds too human to be correct but that's why I'm asking. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure what kind of cat she is - she was adopted from a family member.

We also feed her Indoor Purina dry food.

My cats do the same thing, but our vet said it's nothing to worry about. If they're not hiding constantly, or having bad diarrhea, then they're fine. Could you tell us what kind of cats they are? some get it worse than others.

We also had a cat that did the same thing. It turned out that he had actually developed an allergy to something in the food. We had to try different foods before finding one that was suitable for his tummy. Good luck!

Increase the amount of fiber in your pet’s diet by adding 1 – 2 teaspoons of either Canned Pumpkin or Shredded Lettuce to every meal. Hopefully this will help to curb the out of control, non-food item cravings.

My cats sometimes does this when he eats too fast. I just wipe off his mouth and let it go.

Cats can get hepatic lipidosis (liver disease)
if they do not eat anything for more than a day or two. Then they stop eating altogether.
