Can someone explain here why black people in Brussels are so f u c k i n g snob and cocky? They act and behave like they are the righteous ones here. The way they express theirselves -to me- are so stuck up and cheeky you know. Also for some Moroccans here as well.
While the real Belgian people here act and behave normally, humble and very down to earth -- why those black people and Moroccans in Brussels seem like they are the owner of the city? Seems like they are the one who have the right to act like the king of Belgium? Take a look at public spaces and some general neighborhoods in Brussels. How they act, how they react, how they conduct, how they behave and how they 'look' at others.... so snobbish, bossy and supercilious. No humble, meek or thoughtful behavior from them at all.
I am not saying here ALL of them like that, but in general. Correct me if I am wrong.
Well, it is completely true that an old jargon says..... ''An empty barrel resounds loudly''

boxjelly, I heard about the history of Belgium colonized Congo long ago. I asked about the black people mindset and attitude here.
Just because Belgium colonized Congo they have the right to behave like they are the king of Belgium? think about it.

I just ask a Q to know what people think about it. To know people's way of thinking. I post a Q here not to have a mark if my Q is ''insignifiant'' or not like you claimed.

Belchiq, I kinda agree with you.
I see many black people in Brussels are the one who behave like they are the king of Belgium. Sucks!! Who the hell they think they are? Snob and stuck up. Noisy and annoying but too prided to admit their flaws and shortcomings.
That's black people in Brussels ! Moroccans also the same. Eastern European people still much better and not that stuck up and snob like black or Moroccans.
How racist I am, people ! But look at them, this is not their country but their actions are so s h i t. Wanna puke to see their arrogance !!!

Albert Heger, I agree I think with you.
Everyone in this world has a superiority complex but black people holds the highest rank. Not only in Brussels but in NYC is generally the same !! Moroccans here are not that superior like black people they just so strict and hard with the up tight rules of their religion, Islam.
But black people they always feel superior compare to others. Their pride is unbearable.

As a Belgian I can tell you that you are completely right and by no means a racist. This superiority complex of the negroes started in he 60 ies when students from the then Belgian Congo bought 12 suits (per person) in the poshest shop in Avenue Louise and demanded that the Brussels University pay for it. When the University flatly refused, we were all treated to a stream of racist epithets. And it has become worse and worse since then generating the birth of extremist parties such as Le Penn and Vlaams Blok.
For the Ankara genius Kale: if there is no country called Belgium, there sure is a country called Turkey: perhaps you should review the history of your heroic Turkey and find out what your nice country did to the Armenians (an holocaust worse than the Nazis), the Kurds and the Greeks in Cyprus. And now they want into the European Union. No way José.

No you're not wrong. Been back there a few years ago and , man! it is getting worse. But guess who's letting them in??! The laws over ther are too soft and that's why they are the way they are, because they KNOW they can get away with mostly anything!
I heard alot of my friends saying that eastern-Europeans and Moroccans are making the city worse, wich I totally agree. I probably would have moved too.
Now i HAVE been friends with all races and NOT all of them are like that but unfortunately they are hard to find. An by saying 'blacks' ...you mean Africans?... :-&
To me it all come to this....RESPECT... on both sides, so if you, African, Moroccan, Turkish, Polish are reading this....you also need to respect this country or any host country you are living in! ...You wouldn't' t go to your neighbors' house and mess it up....would you?

I think this is some kind of a reaction for decades long of prejudice and bad treatment. People you mention generally are having worse living and working conditions than "white-real" Belgians. By the way if my grandfather came to Belgium first, my father and me was born here but if I am black would that not make me real Belgian?
Anyway these people are always left out of the society so now they pay back by behaving out of its unwritten rules.
Unfortunately, when people are so ready to take sides it is impossible to have a harmonized society.

Look here in Antwerp, then you see some problems.
And sometimes I wonder who's in fact the racist.
When you see the news here and a Moroccan or African person did something wrong they cover it up, but when a white did something wrong to a colored person...meaning a self defense, the other party scream racism.
Why should we be masochistic and let it all be when they like to rule over us?
I say no to that, we Belgian people are fed up we have no rights in ower own country while they have all the right, shops, money, housing etc...
And then the government screams that we are in economic trouble here, well it would be easy solved.
Many Belg's are immigrating because they are fed up to life in a economic unstable and dangerous life.
About Congo, I can tell you some stories!
My uncle lived a long time before in the sixties for several years in Leopold ville, that time he heard a rumor that a war would be there, his neighbors did not listening he immigrated to USA, he's neighbors got killed by their own staff in a very cruel way without any reason!.
The whites gave them good work and as gratitude the whites got killed.
So it's obvious that many don't like them, And also the few white survivors of that time don't like them and this has noting to do with racism but purely realism!
Those times are not allowed to be forgotten in the rembrances of all the white victems that time.

You are generalizing. Like every race, some of them have to be a**holes. Can't be helped. Personally I am probably pretty much of an a** myself. You have the whip hand here though. If you don't like their attitude, just avoid them. You don't have to communicate with them at all. Its your choice.
