Because there is no physical punishment to the acts we choose to do. Only emotional ones.

Man is created in the image of God but separated from God by sin. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God. Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5
The process is always difficult. Growing and learning is never easy, but the changes make us better people. We begin to think differently, then to talk differently, and finally, to act differently. This process develops in stages, and we must always remember that while it’s taking place, we can have the attitude, “I’m OK, and I’m on my way!”
Today you may be wrestling with a bad temper, thinking if you could just get freedom in this area, everything would be all right. But the thing is, God will then reveal something else that needs to be dealt with, and you’ll be back in that same frame of mind again, thinking, “If only I didn’t have this problem, I could be happy.” We must learn to look at these things in a new way.
We can be free to believe that we are, indeed, OK and on our way—not perfected yet, but pressing on. We can be free to enjoy life, enjoy God and enjoy ourselves.

We are born into sin. There is nothing we can do to prevent this.
Our sins are paid for by accepting Jesus' attonement. However, this is not a license to keep on sinning. By accepting Jesus, we now get a guitly conscience when we sin and therefore we try to improve ourselves. We will always still keep sinning until we leave this physical body no matter how hard we try not to - that is why Jesus was needed.
And Jesus keeps on forgiving us over and over for the same sin if we are sincerely sorry each time but are struggling to overcome the situation. Example - on one occasion one of them asked Jesus if he should forgive someone as many as seven times. Jesus replied, "I say not ... seven times: but, Until seventy times seven" (Matthew 18:22, KJV).

Because it was sin that put Jesus on the cross. Sin is sin, and always will be. Yes, Jesus paid the price, but He didn't abolish God's law. Peace.

Jesus died in an attempt to absolve us from original sin. That is, Eve eating the apple.
He didn't die for every sin ever commited or to be commited. That is a common misconception among what I like to call "part-time christians".
We are still responsible for being good people and paying for our sins. We just don't have to worry about original sin keeping us from heaven.
Hope this helps!

Jesus paid to free us from the power of death (Spiritual)
But we still have the choice to sin or not.
Unless we accept HIS work we are dead in our sins

We are human and God understands that, Jesus died so that we would not have to suffer for our sins and so that there was a way back to God.

no one is saved once and saved for all time.........we have Jesus sacrifice to open the way for forgiveness, but if we continue to sin then Jesus may not forgive us on the bases of us not being truly sorry.
