Even if we do get flooded which is highly unlikely as it would shut the Gulf Steam down and then the ice would start freezing again. But never mind, even if the loony brigade are right for once, you could just fit huge tyres onto your 4x4 and drive around all over the place on top of the water.

When will people stop thinking just about global warming to mean things getting hotter and realise that climate change means things changing mostly for the worse. Climate change will bring more intense storms, more intense droughts, more intense heatwaves and generally more uncomfortable weather. Rising sea levels are just one of the effects but at least if the sea level rises enough to drown those who use 4x4s when they dont need to then maybe there will be some good out of it. Those of us who walk can also swim and dive. Is your 4x4 submersible? I think not.

think how expensive that would be
i suppose it would be a really good idea
but that is alot of water
& if global warming did take place (as it is now) the world would not completely submerge 7 meteres of land around all teh worlds cost would be gone 7 meteres would be like 100 kms inland depending if there are hills but anyway
how exactly would you get alll of that water (bcse theres heaps) into space exactly ???

You still need to take that physics class I recommended at your last question.
Do you have any idea of the size and number of pumps you would need to accomplish this? (not to mention the thousands of 100-mile long pipes) You would be pumping trillions of gallons of water over 100 miles high (you have to get it completely into space, or it will return). I'm not certain we have the technology to even build and suspend the pipes ... they would keep falling over due to the rotational speed of the earth.

Its imaginative!
But you'd need a HUGE pipe to stop the water being pulled back to earth. The moon is a quarter of a million miles away and earth still keeps a good hold on it...

Why not bring all freezers, refrigeratos and air conditioning system to north pole and trow 12 year's production of toilet paper in oceans?
In worst case, send all umbrellas to the space and our day will be shorter, but planet cooler - of course, Night is Cool, because we have Parties, Raves, Druidic Festivals, and so on.

Luckily, we won't be facing global flooding for a thousand years, if ever.
Hopefully, we will have done a better job teaching basic science.

The fact is, global warming is out of our control. The sun decides wether we get hotter or not,
