Christians rule nothing in my life, I rule my own!

Well for one, I don't know of any successful Atheist politicians.

As a Christian I don't feel like we really are in control any more then you do. Just because a politician tells you he's a Christian doesn't mean that he or she is, and you're naive if you think that's really the case.
Saying you're a Christian will grant you a certain amount of favor, however in a government is made up of elected officials, none of them have any reason to tell you the truth.
If more Americans were Atheist I believe that you would see more politicians come out of the closest then you have anywhere else.

Still you have to admit, the laws of the land are slowly taking a more secular bent anyway. If we were in charge would prayer be illegal in schools? Would there be any debate about displaying the 10 Commadments?

I asked Jesus to come into my heart and I felt Jesus give me Peace and Love and forgiveness. And I said I should of done this along time ago.But I'm no better than you.I could not live one day in your shoes and visa versa. If I were you I would be you.I really don't think there is much of a choice who we were made or created to be.If you did not act like you then you would be living a lie. There is a reason for everything/Can you believe this is coming from a Holy Spirit filled tongue speaking born again Christian. There is a big difference in a religious Christian and a spiritual Christian

Christians are only pointing out to you what the Bible says.
They are really only trying to save your life..
Because if you do not make the decision to worship God...properly....then at Armageddon it will be too late....for you.

(2 Peter 3:3-4) For YOU know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.”

(2 Peter 3:9) Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.

Because that's the way they are. That is their mentality, it is in them to do that. They have been indoctrinated to believe this stuff, it is a divisive world view, it appeals to those who have a need...a need to feel superior, a need to feel loved, a need to feel like a part of something big, and the need to look down their noses at those who are not part of it. And every so often, if it isn't in one of them to be that way, the world gains a new atheist.

Anyone who looks at me and believes that they are going to Heaven, and that I may or may not be, is not, as far as I'm concerned, a good person. A good person would not think that way. No. It takes a special kind of person to be a Christian, and I will enjoy knowing, every day for the rest of my life, that I'm not one.

The founding fathers were not Christians, by the way. In fact, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both expressed, very clearly, their negative views on Christianity.

Hello? You Okay?

Christians dont rule everything! The world is ruled by different people of different religious backgrounds.

Christians have never said they are better than anyone or think that they are.

Life's a beautiful thing when different people submerge together to form societies and communities. These different people may have different religious or racial makeup. What I depise is the nasty little toadrags who question everybody else's place in society or even their religious affliation.

Christians do not rule everything. God is the one who rules everything. In the bible it says Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. (Philippians 2:3) we think of everyone better then ourselfs. We love atheists and hope that maybe one day they will find the true God of the bible. May God Bless the rest of your day!

Because Christians are typically far-right and the far-right have nothing better to do than make fun of people they don't agree with all day instead of reporting news (AKA Fox).

Because they're father is the ruler and they don't think they are better then others they are just aware of the fact that it is best to chose to make out of your life more then a pile of garbage.
That's what atheism teaches us: nothing after death... when you die all that remains is an awful smell and a small pile of garbage.
