contact the DVLC at swansea assuming you are england. get another copy of mot from garage where you had it done. or get another garage to mot it for you.

You can get a new V5 from the DVLA (branches round the country). The original garage who did the MOT will reprint the certificate, but if it was done before you bought the car, then you may not have that info available. In which case you must get the test done again. BTW if that is the case you MUST NOT drive the car on the public roads unless you are taking it directly to an MOT station for testing.

go back and ask for a copy of mot this will cost you the log book though has gone so have a good clear out and find it

apply to the dvla for a new log book and if you go on the dvla website you can check the mot and apply for a copy of it

If the cars in your name, fill out a logbook form (v62) it should be free to apply for a logbook, if it's not yet in your name, you will still have to fill out the logbook form but it will cost you £25.
The garage where you had it MOT'd will do you a duplicate MOT but they may charge you between £10 and £15.

send away to dvla for a duplicate copy of the log book, and find out where the car was last mot,d and they will issue you with a duplicate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

contact swansea and they will issue you a new log book (v5), but it will cost you about £37. for the mot, contact the garage where you got it from and ask for a copy, they will charge but i dont know how much.

Phone the DVLA - all the records are computerised now, so they should be able to sort from the registration number
