It's usually "shwma" - pronounced: "shoe ma".

Both "shwma"
and "shwd ych chi" mean "how are you?" in South Wales form of Welsh.

It's South Wales dialect : "Shwmae, shwd y'ch chi?"
It means, "Hi, how are you?"
In the North here we say " Su' mae, sut 'dach chi?"

There is no need to use both.."Shwmae" or "shwd y'ch chi" would do by themselves.
