I can't remember my dreams when I wake up, but I know I must have them, because everyone dreams.

I would really like to remember them.

keep a journal next to your bed and if you wake up during the night write it down right away. it works for me but, if that doesnt work for you then all I can say is you must be a a very deep sleeper.....lucky

Interpreting dreams is a difficult and tedious task. If you can successfully interpret your dreams, however, you can learn a lot about yourself. There are a few simple steps to dream interpretation.

Interpreting a Dream

1. Before even going to bed, try to keep a clear mind. Having many thoughts on your mind (especially disturbing ones) can distract you from remembering the dream.

2. Take a pencil and a piece of paper and put it next to your bed.

3. Try to just lay down on your bed and try not to think of anything.

4. Slowly close your eyes and continue to keep a clear mind. You will eventually fall asleep.

5. If at any point during the night you wake up, write down all you can remember from the dream and the go back to sleep.

6. When you wake up in the morning, you should write down everything you remember from the night's dream(s).

7. After all the items you have written down, draw a line under all of the main aspects of the dream.

8. On the back of that sheet of paper write down anything that has been disturbing you, caused anxiety or joy.

9. Look at the major symbols and check what they mean in the symbolism section.

Keep a notebook and pen right by your bed. As soon as you wake up, jot down everything that you can remember. I'm able to remember my dreams for a very short while- like 15 seconds. If I can get a few details written down, they spark a memory that helps me recall more of the dream.

Writing down don't work... I've tried...:P, they all look nonsense the next morning...

get a mp3 recorder! Force yourself up from a dream and record them with your voice, speak as fast as possible as your memory of the dream fades every second you're awake. Give as much details as possible and key words that you may use them to link back to the dream.

Yes,the biggest one is do not move at all! not even your head upon waking. It has worked for me for many years.

I lie there still and replay the scenes, and then dont need to write any of them down until the afternoon, but the sooner the better.

okay every night before you go to sleep. imagine a dream in your mind. like a scene that you would like to occur or a fantasy.
close your eyes, relax and picture whatever you want to play out in your head, like a movie. it works for me. e-mail me and pls tell me if it works, fadingaway335 yahoo.com

Cling to them. Listen with your heart - they will try to make you forget, but if you create space for it , then you will remember.
