Austalia, which states has the construction boom/higher employment rate?

1) Could anyone please tell me which states of Australia has a higher employment rate for construction sector?

2) Is there any good demand for Quantity Surveyor? I have a degree in RMIT but never work in Austalia previously. However i have worked in Singapore for 10 yrs as QS.

3) What is the kind of salary range for QS with above experience.

Sydney I guess. Regarding job & salary pls look for some related group in yahoo and join them.
