80% of losing weight is not the way you can eat!!!

exercise - plus build some muscle tone - eat healthy - whole fruit is way better than juice.

don't make abrupt changes in the amount you eat (this will put your body into survival mode - ie burn as little as possible) - try eat more raw uncooked things as possible. whole grain low GI foods are good.

stick at it this isn't a quick process - make changes that you can sustain for your whole life - no crazy diets
best of luck

80% of loosing weight is through the way you eat. Try to stick to healthy foods like fruit and vegetables during the day. If you can make time for it, eat 5 smaller meals instead of 3 larger ones. This should help to speed up your metabolism. Also, try cutting out high fat and high carb foods from your everyday diet and restrict to once or twice a week. This will be the main cause for your weight gain or for not loosing weight.
Its good that you have a physical job, but again, if you have the time, try going for a 20 minute run each day as well. By increasing the amount of exercise you do, you should be burning more calories than you are eating (especially if you begin eating less and eating more healthily) - voilla weightloss!
Good luck!
Oh and btw.. dont try to loose more than 1/2lb a week or you will probably find that you put it all back on again.

Check this site to make sure you actually need to lose weight: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/. Then, cut back on calories by about 500 a day and increase your walking to about an hour a day, and that's it. But, according to the site, you're healthy. You might just want to tone up: try lifting weights to achieve that, and the walking will tone your thighs.
