Does anyone know about a drink that is supposed to be REALLY good for you which consists of a mixture of grape juice and either apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar and something else? I'd like to know what the actual ingredients are and the measurements of each ingredient if anyone knows.
Also, how much and how often does one consume this drink? What are the health benefits? I have also heard that drinking olive oil is great for dry skin....I have VERY dry skin...how does one choke the olive oil down w/out getting sick? Do you mix it w/something or just drink it straight? (I don't think I could do that)

Grape juice alone is very nutricious and healty drink. I would not drink vinagar, no practical use. Better you eat grapes because they contain a lot of fiber which is also healty. And juice is good if grape seeds are squized too.
External moisturizing applications such as creams are more effective for dry skins. Drinking olive oil do not directly impact to your skin. It contains some vitamins, minerals especially vit. E which then helps your skin indirectly.
All mediteraneans consumes olive oil, not by drinking! We put it on foods while cooking or preparing and to salads, there you can combine olive oil and vinegar a perfect combination, don't drink, eat it with food.
If you eat enough fruits and vegetables with olive oil your skin will be better.

anything that involves drinking vinegar sounds horrible..
Eating grapefruit helps you burn calories it's been tested but The vinegar would just be disgusting to drink when You could just drink or eat grapefruit...because it's good for you.

And I wouldn't suggest drinking olive oil for you skin..They make a really good line of facial products called caudalie, it's made with grape seed oil and it has antioxidants like wine and it's from France so It's good stuff..Just don't go drinking all that crazy stuff..

Hi Rdcd I have tried apple cider vinegar as part of a detox program. It's not very nice to take and on it's own it wont detox you but it can be helpful alongside other methods. I wouldn't have thought that apples or white grtape juice would be much good for detox. The apple cider vinegar works by acting as a natural disinfectant and helps the body to elimate toxins, it naturally helps with digestion and will neutralize foods which are difficult to digest. But as I said before it wont work as a detox on its own. Kezzy
