I have a Dish DVR and I recorded something that I want to delete but I protected it and I cant remember my password! Is there anything I can do to override it without calling Dish? I cant stand those people they always act like I'm a retarded 8 year old.

I am sick and tired of people suggesting that I am not an adult. Im a 34 year old woman who just wants to delete something off her DVR and doesnt know how to fix her parental control password. With 4 kids, a husband and a hectic full time job, remebering a TV password is at thye bottom of my priorities. Now if you cant answer my question seriously, I would rather you didnt answer at all. Please be serious with me.

Have you looked in the Dish DVR manual? There 'might' be a reset method for forgotten passwords.

It seems to me that your parents blocked you and you're trying to get their password...
