This is not the classic 'nutcase mormons', but 'nutcases' who happen to be 'mormons'. There's a difference here, but it's hard to figure out just where.
This was discussed on the Yahoo's Recovery from Mormonism board several months ago. News sometimes is slower than in Smith's day.

Horrible.

Jesus said in Matthew chapter 18

3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Cases like this make me wish these women could be given whipped with 39 lashes.

And then never allowed near another child again.

Pastor Art

PS: If it was up to me all those Priests who abused children should also be whipped and so should their Bishops including Cardinal Law from Boston who could have stopped it but looked the other way.

I would expect no less from a cult. Mormons are not Christians, they follow the writings of a man named Joseph Smith who was noted to be a great story teller, and was in fact shot dead while escaping from jail. They follow a book which is a perversion of Biblical teaching.

I think that their religion sure wouldn't have been an issue if they were Methodist, or Anglican or Pentecostal. Only the Mormons!

Two bug ugly sin distorted nutters twisted beyond recognition by false teachings comes to mind.
As Jesus had pretty harsh words for this kind of thing they ought to be afraid.

Matthew 18:5-7
5And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

7Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

But it hardly reflects the Mormons behaviour. Those I have met they have been perfectly charming. Misguided, in a cult, wrongly taught, but kind.

Typical Mormon stupidity. Utah has the highest rate of child abuse in the USA.

Regardless of which religious sect one belongs to, abusive parents should be jailed. Period! And their victim children should be kept out of harm's way... those poor, defenseless things.

Peace be with you.

I shudder in horror at these two "humans". An eye for an eye would be most suitable in their case.
